With the recent elections in Europe and the ongoing Brexit drama in the U.K., Dr Swinburne provides a direct view in to the inner workings and can help us understand what it all means. Dr. Swinburne is originally from Wales, earned science degrees and a PhD in medical research and an MBA. She started her career in international healthcare and investment banking having worked at Deutsche Bank. Active in Welsh politics, she has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009.
